As Principal Instructor at Zebon, Jo sets the tone for the whole school. Since founding Zebon in 2006, it has been our guiding principle to treat each pupil as an individual. That's why we talk to each pupil before they start and make a full assessment of which of our team of instructors would suit them - not just whether their instructor should be a man or a woman, or old or young, but the style of tuition that the pupil would respond to best.
Well now young drivers can start driving lessons at age 14, 15 or 16 on our private road circuits - Provisional licence NOT required!. All lessons are given by CRB checked, fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) in dual controlled cars, so you can enjoy learning to drive in a safe environment. Cars are fully insured for off road driving tuition for 14-year-olds, 15-year-olds and 16-year-olds on private roads. Become a young driver today!

We specialize in all the key areas required to help you through your driving test and are very proud of our high pass rates. We only use qualified local driving instructors who are all extremely patient and friendly. We are especially used to dealing with nervous pupils as well those who may have struggled with driving tests in the past. At Start2drive we are very proud of our high success rate. We have a pass rate of above 70% (compared to a national pass rate of just above 40%).
There are many driving schools and choosing the right one for you is important. We have been teaching learner drivers for the past 20 years and in that time have gained a wealth of experience and qualifications. We are grade 6 instructors, which is the highest grade that can be achieved and only 6.5%* of driving instructors in the UK have gained this. All instructors are registered with the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) and have undertaken a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check.
