Learner:

This course involves preparing for both the DSA Theory and Practical Driving tests and acquiring the skills needed to drive safely after passing these basic tests using latest client centred coaching techniques.

For learners or complete beginners I believe that becoming a safe driver means acquiring skills that go beyond those required simply to pass the basic driving test. My aim is help beginners reach this level before they take the test to ensure that they know how to drive safely for a lifetime. I have a high pupil pass rate for the Practical Test.

Pass Plus:

After the driving test is Pass Plus a nationally approved scheme for newly qualified drivers.

Refresher Lessons:

For experienced drivers who need to boost their confidence or improve their skills. Can be focussed on specific areas of driving if requested or could start with a short assessment to focus the training as with the EDA course below.

Experienced Driver Assessment (EDA):

For the older driver or concerned relative who may be worried about whether they or their relative are as safe as they used to be and require a professional assessment of their driving. Following the assessment should tuition be requested it can be targeted where it is most needed to improve safety.

I am an approved trainer for a large county council on their driver assessment and training courses so have relevant experience.

Supervising a Learner:

I am happy to offer advice and an opportunity for a parent or other supervising driver to sit in on a lesson to understand what is involved.
